Tyshea Lashaune Suggs was born in May 1992 in Fulda, a small town right in the middle of Germany. Beside her passion for dance she later on discovered her passion for music and started taking lessons in piano, clarinet and singing. In 2006, at the age of 14, she left her Hometown to intensify her trainings at „Tanzgymnasium Essen-Werden“  – dance high school of Essen-Werden -. During her following studies at “Folkwang University of Arts” she gained her license in instructing Jazzercise and took part in cultural youth exchanges with artistic students from Africa and Isreal. Furthermore she did jobs for the german TV program „zdfNEO MAGAZIN“ and different roles in operas at Aalto Theater in Essen.  While doing all this different kind of stage jobs, performances at festivals or private events and touring with “Rolf Zuckowski” a german singer and song writer, she received a good stage experience. Tyshea just graduated and is now working as a freelancer. She dances and teaches with TANZMOTO since 2015.

Professioinal training Body Work:

After warming up our joints and muscles with soft strengthening and stretching exercises we continue with a conditional workout. This can happen rather in place or in rotated circuit training. Following we train our arm muscles, leg and butt muscles as well as our abdominal and back muscles with and without aids. The exercises are a mixture of classical strength exercises and variations particular for dancers for center stability, turn out, posture and balance. During the training breathing plays an important role so that not only our muscles get enough oxygen but that the rest of our body stays relaxed. We finish the course with a stretching.

We recommend to wear sneakers during the "Body Work" class!
