From 23 to 27 July 2012, the two TANZMOTO dancers Maria Lucia Agón and Mohan C. Thomas will host a special workshop for dance teachers, taking place in Berlin. In five sessions, they will teach three different aspects of yoga – strengthening of mind and body, improvisation and composition.

The two dancers have developed a special programme based on contemporary dance and yoga techniques that stimulates curiosity, provides ideas for one’s own practice and teaching methods, and brings the participants into contact with the art of yoga via dance.

The performances of the pupils’ dance project “Petruschka”, with 70 participants from four schools in Münster, were a great success. Based on a choreography by Mohan C. Thomas, the young people danced to the composition by Igor Strawinsky, accompanied by the Symphonie-Orchester Münster.
