The time has come: On November 30, „on a roll“, the wheelchair-dance project, will be performed on stage!

Five members of the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY will be dancing with 40 amateur dancers in the age between  9 and 70 years – 34 of them are pedestrians, six will be dancing in a wheelchair.

„on a roll“ is a run of good luck, a course, continuity: rotating wheels, fluent moves, a group in the flow, in a state of uncertainty between walking, driving and staggering.

At the kick-off event of the integrativ dance production „on a roll“ on 2nd of September all 40 project participants from the whole Ruhr area first came together. Professional dancers met young as well as experienced wheelchair dancers and amateur dancers of all age groups.

Successful networking for Tanzmoto at the Internationale Tanzmesse 2012 TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY looks back to three very successful days at the Internationale Tanzmesse 2012 in Düsseldorf, after having its own space at the fair for the first time. The representatives of TANZMOTO were very happy about numerous interesting encounters and promising discussions with theatres, potential partners, dancers and others interested. The own presentation in newly created looks of TANZMOTO drew the interest of many to projects and productions of the dance company.

For the first time, this year TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY is represented at the Internationale Tanzmesse (International Dance Fair) in Düsseldorf, Germany.

From August 29 to September 1 the dance company will present itself in a new corporate design to hosts of dance events from all over the world, as well as to the interested public.

You are most welcome to gain insight into our dance company at our booth. Our staff will be happy to inform you personally on our recent repertoire and current productions.

The TANZMOTO e.V. will soon launch a new dance project called “on a roll – on the way to success” for children and teenagers aged 8 to 20 with and without walking disabilities.

This project concentrates on the joint creation, development and performance of an evening-long dance piece in the theatre of Marl. The wheelchair as a vital tool plays a key role and is included in the dance performance in a creative way. It is not seen as a handicap, but instead presents a tool for a unique form of dance.
