Darwin Díaz, born in Mérida/ Venezuela, started his contemporary dance study at the dance university IUDANZA  in Caracas with 19 years. After that he studied at Folkwang University as a scholarschip holder. From 2009 until 2014 he was dancer of the FTS (Folkwang Tanz Studio). Furthermore he danced pieces of Pina Bausch, Susanne Linke,  Rodolfo Leoni ,  Anna Holter, Mark Scieczkarek, Daniel Goldin, Chikako Kaido and Urs Dietrich.

The training for professionals: Body awareness
During this session we focus on the perception of our own body. Through different exercises e.g. breathing techniques, warming up the joints and movement sequences, we give attention to the body. Rhythmical combinations will make us experience our body in time and space so that we deepen our body awareness.
