Chrystel is born in Paris on the 26th of July 1971. She studies Ballett with Daniel Franck, Gilbert Meyer from the Opéra de Paris, Modern Jazz with Raza Hammadi, Contemporary Dance and Tai Chi.  She attends singing and violin lessons and studies fine arts in the Musée des Arts Déco de Paris. 

1988- 1994 she works with Philippe Découfflé, Maryse Delente and Maurice Béjart. 1995- 2000 she is a steady member of the Wuppertal Tanztheater from Pina Bausch. She appeares in the film from Wim Wenders: PINA nominated for the Oscars.

Since 2000 she is working as a freelance artist, and founds the Company DOUBLE C and the Art Association Wup d.c. with Chun-Hsien Wu.
In 2006 she receives for her choreographical work the Eduard Von der Heydt Museums sponsorship prize. 

She has been the training teacher for the regional theater from Münster and gives body training for the actors from Düsseldorf Theater where she worked also as Choreographer for several productions. She is professor at Theater Total Bochum, actress, performer and choreographer for the Theater Anderwelten from Heiner Bontrup . She also collaborates with the choreographer Jean Laurent Sasportes.

Since 2010 she is a practitioner in Ortho-Bionomy. Since 2018 Chrystel is giving dance classes for professionals at TANZMOTO.
