At the kick-off event of the integrativ dance production „on a roll“ on 2nd of September all 40 project participants from the whole Ruhr area first came together. Professional dancers met young as well as experienced wheelchair dancers and amateur dancers of all age groups.

The first meeting and rehearsal was accompanied by Clark Stiefel who played the grand piano and drums. Five of the six ours that the dancers spent together, they had an intensiv dance rehearsal where they already choreographed a lot. During the break, the praticipants got the chance to get to know each other a little more while having some food from the buffet. Thereby they developed a very nice and harmonic atmosphere.

Thus, the kick-off event was already a special experience for all participants.

The rehearsals will go until the end of November. „On a roll“ will be premiered on 30th November 2012 at Theater Marl. More pictures of the kick-off can be found in the gallery.
