Lorenza Di Calogero graduated in 1989 at the “Rotterdamse dansacademie”, nowadays called “Codarts” in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Ever since then, she has worked as a freelance dancer , teacher and choreographer around Europe and toured worldwide in various dance companies and small productions. As a dancer she is experienced in different styles and techniques such as contemporary dance, ballett, physical theater, contact-improvisation, bûtoh but also afro and jazz.

She worked with choreographers like Wim Vandekeybus, Roberto Zappala, Vicente Sáez, Micha van Hoecke, Patrizia Cerroni, Oumar Camara, Wendell Wells , Shusaku Takeuchi and Lisa Marcus. Lorenza is also interested in interdisciplinary work and likes to collaborate with artists like painters, architects, writers, composers, video-artists, photographers and many more. Meanwhile she teaches her own style of contemporary dance in different institutes, dance schools and companies for example in Valencia (Spain) where she combines all her work experience as a dancer and choreographer.
