Victor Alfonso Zapata Cardenas was born in Medellin, Colombia in 1988.

In 2010 he graduated in dance at the Folkwang University in Essen. At the same time he started the master programme „Interpretation“.

Victor danced among others at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, worked with choreographers such as Rodolpho Leoni, Henrietta Horn and Mark Sieczkarek and was a guest dancer at the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch.

Since March 2011 he is a member of the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY.
