Dina Nur was born in Khartoum, Sudan in 1963 and lives now in Dortmund, Germany.

She studied object design with the main focus on sculpture at the Fachhochschule Dortmund under the direction of Prof. Theo Uhlmannan. Since 1990 she works as a freelance artist and has exhibitions in Germany and abroad.

Dina Nur already created stage design and costumes for the dance theater „Zwiefach“ in Cologne before she started making the stage design and costumes for dance theater productions of the TANZMOTO DANCE COMPANY in 2006.
